Responsibilities:
· Oversee data discovery, analysis, and the implementation of data management practices, contributing to operational enhancements within the organization.
· Dive into data, conducting end-to-end analysis, and share insights with various business partners.
· Collaborate with diverse teams to drive efficient data flow and propose solutions, utilizing new tools as needed.
· Perform a comprehensive analysis of enterprise data and operational processes, addressing root causes of data consistency challenges and ensuring streamlined data sources for shared services teams.
· Identify and suggest data management solutions to minimize duplication and discrepancies across sources, simplifying workflows and reducing operational complexities.
· Work closely with technology, shared services, and key business partners to establish data integration pipelines, transformations, and robust data governance practices.
· Facilitate data management activities through governance and cataloging, including modeling, categorization, quality rules, and metadata management aligned with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
· Analyze and guide the evolution of streamlined data mapping rules for uniform, accurate, and consistent data transformation across integrated systems.
· Establish and enforce robust data quality standards and governance practices, ensuring clear data lineage.
· Seamlessly navigate change management, integrating process enhancements and technology implementations.
· Establish and maintain a repository of documentation for transparency and accountability in data governance processes.
Qualifications:
-Hands on experience in tools used to support data management, specifically metadata management, data cataloguing, data lineage and data quality
-Experience within the Insurance Industry
-Can communicate effectively across different partners at all levels of the organisation.
