Responsibilities:
· Lead risk management oversight for  business from a quantitative perspective.
· Provide risk status reports and insights to management.
· Review and challenge key business activities, facilitating the implementation of ERM initiatives.
· Lead the implementation of upcoming capital management regulation (ESR) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
· Lead a team of subject matter experts in quantitative risk categories (Insurance, Credit, Market, Liquidity).
· Provide oversight on each risk in necessary governance committees to ensure sustainable business operations.
· Establish frameworks for better risk management and governance.
· Collaborate with the global ERM community for expertise and networking.
· Own and maintain company’s economic value-based capital management framework.
· Lead the implementation of the regulatory Economic Capital-Based Solvency Regime (ESR) 
· Lead the refinement and implementation of the home-grown economic capital model (ECM/IM) into day-to-day business decision-making.

Qualifications:
· In-depth knowledge and expertise in the Japanese insurance business, including regulatory requirements.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of confidently presenting and influencing outcomes locally and globally.
· Proficient in both English and Japanese, essential for conducting business internally, externally, and with regulators.
· Ability to thrive in a global business environment, maximizing the utilization of ERM expertise worldwide.
· Skillful at building and maintaining professional relationships internally and externally.
· Seasoned actuarial experience, encompassing various functions such as risk analytics, aggregate pricing, exposure management, reserving, data analytics, and technical pricing.
· Familiarity with both US GAAP and JGAAP, as well as economic value-based accounting.
· In-depth understanding of JFSA's economic value-based capital regime.
