Position: Catastrophe modelling Analyst

Responsibilities:
·  Utilize technical proficiency to address catastrophe modeling concerns, utilizing both vendor and in-house models and quoting tools.
·  Promptly escalate any identified issues and deliver comprehensive analyses in a timely manner.
·  Customize modeling and pricing applications for Natural Catastrophe (Nat Cat) and other business lines.
·  Validate modeled losses through loss feasibility analysis.
·  Offer analytical support through knowledge sharing and recommendations.
·  Ensure accurate implementation of modeling assumptions to precisely quantify the Company’s catastrophe loss potential.
·  Aid in validating third-party Nat Cat models.
·  Assist with complex projects by collaborating effectively to solve problems and complete analyses.
Qualifications:
-experience in natural catastrophe modelling
•   knowledge in the usage of natural catastrophe models from Verisk (AIR).
•   Experience in validation of third-party Nat Cat models.
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
•   Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•   Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and SQL
