Responsibilities:

·  Manages the full underwriting and account management process, collaborating with Actuarial, Accounting, and ERM teams.
·  Underwrites profitable business; evaluates treaty terms, pricing, and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
·  Enters reinsurance accounts and collaborates on managing geographical and business line aggregations.
·  Provides documentation for guideline exceptions and key underwriting decisions; analyzes contract language and verifies coverage.
·  Offers technical assistance on coverage interpretations and conducts peer reviews of reinsurance treaties.
·  Develops and maintains broker and client relationships; creates new business opportunities and improves account renewals.
·  Participates in industry events and communicates effectively for information gathering in the underwriting process.
·  Leads and supports critical projects; conducts complex data analysis and reports on reinsurance objectives.
·  Gathers competitive information, assists in portfolio management, and maintains underwriting quality standards.
·  Mentors and trains staff


Qualifications:

-CPCU or ARE designation
-15+ years of experience

-->SALARY: 170-245k
