Position: Actuary

Responsibilities:
· Lead the actuarial rate development and rating model design for personal products from the ground up
· Build, test, and validate advanced predictive statistical models for risk classification, loss costing, and portfolio performance monitoring.
· Prepare and support regulatory rate filings, providing well-documented actuarial justification and responding to regulatory inquiries.
· Track loss experience, rate adequacy, and portfolio mix to proactively identify emerging trends and advise on corrective underwriting/pricing actions.
· Partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex actuarial findings into strategic business decisions.
Qualifications:
· ACAS designation with a minimum of 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience.
· Hands-on experience in personal lines
· Strong programming proficiency in R and / or Python and advanced Excel; working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to build models independently from scratch and navigate ambiguous, greenfield projects.

SALARY: $110k - $135k + bonus + perks
